GetKG Ireland is a free, independent guide to Ireland and Northern Ireland. It brings together three things: an interactive map of places worth visiting, a live “where is it dry right now” weather finder, and plain-English guides for your first 90 days in Ireland.
What you will find here
- Places map — cliffs, waterfalls, mountains, castles, historic pubs, ruins and legends, with photos and directions. Places marked 💰 are “treasures” with a hidden tip inside.
- Dry-weather finder — live rain radar and a ranking of nearby towns by dry hours.
- First 90 days — PPS number, MyGovID, bank account, home, GP, tax, jobs, transport and scams, checked against official sources and dated.
How we work
- Guides are checked against official Irish sources (gov.ie, Citizens Information, Revenue, HSE, RTB and others) and show the date they were last checked.
- Cover photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited on each place page. Our own photos are added over time.
- Nothing here is legal, tax, medical or immigration advice. Always check the official source before you act.
