The guides, maps and weather tools are general information. They are not legal, tax, medical, financial or immigration advice. Rules, fees, opening hours and access to places change — always check the official source or the place itself before you travel or act.
Places and safety
- Some places on the map are on private land, farms or dangerous coastlines. Respect signs, keep to paths and never enter private property without permission.
- Cliffs, mountains, beaches and islands can be dangerous in bad weather. Check Met Éireann or Met Office warnings and tell someone your plans.
- “Treasures” are tips and legends for fun. Never dig, damage monuments or disturb wildlife — many sites are protected by law.
- Historic pubs are listed for their history and architecture. Drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
Weather data
The dry-weather finder uses radar and forecast data from third parties. Forecasts can be wrong and change quickly. Use it as a guide, not a guarantee.
